About Us

Tempus Delay Analysis was formed in November 2012 by Ian Robinson, a former partner at Davis Langdon LLP where he led the Legal Support Team for a number of years. Ian set up the practice to offer a bespoke service to the construction industry, specialising in forensic delay analysis. In April 2020 Ian was joined as a partner in the business by Chris Dean. Formerly a senior associate, Chris first joined the team in 2003 and has worked with Ian on numerous cases in the intervening period.

We are based on Fleet Street in central London and our offices are within walking distance of both the TCC, IDRC and many of the barristers’ chambers and solicitors based in London.

Ian is a well-respected figure in the field of delay analysis and has a wealth of experience having been involved with a range of different claims across the world, producing expert reports and giving oral evidence when required. Chris also has a wide range of experience over 20 years of working in this field.

We are a dedicated team of professionals who offer extensive experience in forensic analysis of construction projects. Our team is adept at utilising the different available techniques to analyse construction delays. We have the knowledge and skills to carry out detailed, thorough, forensic examinations of construction delays across a wide variety of sectors in the construction and engineering, energy, and oil and gas industries and to articulate our findings persuasively in reports. Our experience of expert witness work is second to none, with Ian Robinson having given oral evidence at trials and hearings on more than 20 occasions over the past 25 years.
